The Solidscape 3z Studio rapid prototyping machine works by building up the 3D model by printing very thin layers of wax one on top of another.


The machine can produce all models including those with intricate hollow parts.

FORMLABS

This printer uses a  process called photopolymerisation using resin to create its 3D waxes.  In layman’s terms, this means that it grows the 3D model from a liquid bath of resin.

RAPID PROTOTYPING


We are fortunate enough to own no less than 3 rapid prototyping machines, operated from our London workshop: the Solidscape high precision printing machine, the Revo Milling Machine and an SLA printer.  


Please let us know your requirements and we will advise you which machine will give you the best results for your particular piece.  Production time is typically within 2-4 days.


Prices start from as little as £30 but prices depend on the size of the item to be milling or printing.

CAD SERVICES

3D SCANNING


Our 3DS LED light structured HD scanner can scan pieces up to 100mm in size. Please email us with enquiries about scanning bigger pieces.  The end result is a high quality scan fully prepared for printing or for further work.


We can scan jewellery, diamonds and other stones and miscellaneous objects including plants or insects.

OUR 3D PRINTERS

MILLING

REVO C

The Revo machine creates its waxes by using two high precision drills to mill each wax into the 3D shape in the stl file.


It uses the same wax as is used for wax carving by hand.  This wax is easy to cast and can be filed down and soldered.
