Our DLP printer uses a process called photopolymerisation to create its 3D waxes. In layman’s terms, this means that it grows the 3D model from a liquid bath of the raw material. In this way, it is similar to SLA, but it is superior in that it cures whole layers at once, making it quicker.
• It is top of the range in terms of the detail it captures, printing layers as little as 10 microns thick.
• It prints high quality precision items in both castable and non-
• Robustness of the resin allows customers to try on a piece of jewellery before the model is finalised.
• Perfect for both small and big pieces like figures or printing for presentation purposes.
• The resin does not deteriorate when stored.
• Hot moulds can be done from non-

In April 2024, we purchased a ProJet® MJP 300W printer of 100% castable wax. It is top-
1. 8.8 microns with very high DPI for highly detailed flat surfaces such as coins and medals.
2. 8 microns with high DPI for highly detailed curved surfaces.
3. 16 microns for standard HD printing
4. 25 microns for fast printing of large objects which don’t have a lot of detail.
It prints accurate, finely detailed, smooth surface patterns without geometric limitations. We will choose the print setting that is right for your 3d model. We usually print in the red jewel wax which is more robust than the alternative purple wax.
